Welcome to Essential Wellness!
We hope that you will find your time with us both pleasant and beneficial to your health. We are excited to get to know you better and help you achieve your health and wellness goals.
The name of our practice comes from two words – essential means “absolutely necessary” and wellness is defined as “an approach to healthcare that emphasizes preventing illness and prolonging life, as opposed to emphasizing treating diseases.” We believe everyone deserves to live life to the fullest and it is our honor and privilege to help people do just that.
Whether you come into our office with an acute or chronic condition, our goal is to get you out of pain as quickly as possible. Most of our patients see a vast improvement within six to eight visits (many even sooner), depending on the severity of the injury. While you may feel 100% better after your initial visits, we recommend preventative or wellness chiropractic care on a less frequent basis to prevent future injuries and also to promote overall health. We do not emphasize extended, scheduled care plans, as we believe that everyone is unique and heals differently.
We treat a wide variety of injuries in our office and also see patients who have no injury at all, but are simply looking to feel better and improve their level of wellness. Chiropractic care is not simply about back pain and headaches. Dr. Kristin Marchman is experienced in adjusting the spine as well as extremities, such as hips, knees, ankles, shoulders, elbows, and wrists.
Chiropractic care is important for all age groups, which is why we see all ages of individuals in our office, from infants to elderly. We are committed to serving Cumming and the surrounding areas as a family chiropractic practice. We also cater to specific groups of individuals, such as pregnant women, children, and athletes. Dr. Marchman has received special training to ensure that we will provide you and your family with the best care possible.
While chiropractic directly addresses the nervous and skeletal systems, the muscular system also plays an important role in the healing process of the body. Neuromuscular massage therapy is an excellent adjunct to chiropractic care and we have two female therapists on staff to best fit the needs of our patients.
